The Little Black Beauty Box April Edition | StylexStyle

April's Edition of TLBBB from StylexStyle is all about pampering yourself and making you look like a Star (like literally, a famous star from Hollywood) with all the inner glow and healthy skin. 

For those who are new to this, basically its a subscription beauty box (which it doesn't allow you to subscribe a couple of months but you have to order the box monthly) and you get 9 to 10 products for just S$22.90. Brands included are of high end like Biotherm, Dior, Guerlain or even Benefit which items are definitely worth the money you paid for. 

So for this month's, skincare and body care is emphasised, from shampoo, to body lotion and to moisturisers. Even nail tools are included too which is quite a surprise. There are also new brands included like Angel which is a Korean brand.

All in all, I do kinda like this box but it somehow fell short compared to its predecessors. I think maybe its because of the inclusion of a new brand which I never heard of and I'm not such a huge fan of Korean skincare.

However, one can always expect or anticipate that the next box would be better ^_^.

Little Black Beauty Box March Edition | StylexStyle

Happy March everyone!!! Time to flies doesn't it? Many changes will be made during this month and hopefully yours will be fruitful. Oh, and its also my birthday month so ^_^ max.

Its a whitening theme for this month and boy was I excited. I mean, just in time for my wedding I'd say as I would like to have a lighter skin tone (you know as the Chinese saying, once you are fair all imperfections can be ignored). 

Chocked full with products as usual. But this time round, there are more sachets than ever (which personally I don't really prefer as the packagings are not really environmental friendly). I love the variety of products included here and I'm spotting a new brand which is Dr. Andrew.

Extremely excited to try them out especially the Laneige Cream and the Sleeping Cap. Japanese brands are known for their whitening skincare range so I do hope that it gives my face a good overall brightening effect.

Little Black Beauty Box February Edition | StylexStyle

If you guys follow me for a while you might have know that I'm a huge fan of The Little Black Beauty Box from StylexStyle. Among all the beauty boxes that I've tried, this one is the most generous with its samples and the quality of the brand, thus making it my favourite (and no, I'm not sponsored to say these words although I ever wish so ;p) 

Without further ado, let's jump right in to see what is installed for us in the February edition. 

So, this month's theme is Charm as in to be as charming as possible for upcoming Valentines and Chinese New Year. 

As you can see here is chocked full of products once again. What got me excited most is when I saw the sample size Benefit Bathina Perfume and the Ioma Tabs which I wanted to try all along. Score!!

Little Black Beauty Box January Edition | StylexStyle

Once again, StylexStyle has outdone themselves with January's Little Black Beauty Box (LBBB). Although we do know beforehand what's to be expected (Dior as shown on their website), I still felt the excitement when I received it.

Nice touch from Sharon (Founder cum MediaCorp Artist) to remind us that the time to list down your new year's resolution is here!!! ^_^ Well, that pretty much sums up what my resolutions are.

Look at these gorgeous packaging. I just can't get over the Dior products overload. Who would have expect there will be 10 products from the brand (I mean, its pretty damn pricey afterall). 

So here are the list of products included in the box:

And can we just take a moment to savour the cuteness of the 2 miniature perfume bottle. How adorable are they? Its a pity that its not the spray kind so I might take some time to finish them up. I mean, I don't normally go for dabbing perfume but I personally love the scents a lot.

Little Black Beauty Box December Edition | StylexStyle

I just want to tell you how excited I was when I received the box. I know it's gonna be good because its nearing Christmas right? And Christmas means presents, those huge big ones.... 

And guess what? I wasn't disappointed at all. Take a look below and the huge, and I do mean HUGE amount of products inside this edition.

Holy Guacamole!!! **Breathe Cindy Breathe!!**

I mean, seriously... Cle de Peau (although I do know this brand is gonna be in this box but I wasn't expecting its gonna occupy half of the box O_O).

Just look at the loot!!! O.M.G!!! This is really Christmas coming.... How did a full size NARS nail polish get into here? Are you kidding me? Hallelujah, I guess somehow God heard my prayers (alright, I'm getting way overexcited and exaggerating just a little but you get the drift of how happy I was)

So we'll got the Cle de Peau skincare lined up. From the right,

3) Gentle Protective Emulsion,

Quite a number of stuff that you can see here... The range of items is good too.

Bountiful sample sized high-end skincare and makeup products can be expected in one's beauty box. I don't really mind the lacking of full size products though as the quantity of products makes up for it.

Jo Malone Workshop | StylexStyle Event

OMG, its almost like a dream when I got the chance to meet Singapore MediaCorp's artist, Sharon Au, at the Jo Malone Workshop organized by StylexStyle at the Seviin Tangs Orchard. I got the invitation through the purchase of Little Black Beauty Box (a Singapore based monthly beauty box) since some of you had asked.

As you can guessed, I was extremely excited.

I have always been a fan of Jo Malone's perfumes, English Pear & Freesia especially hence it was such a pleasure to be able to attend this event. Look at the row of perfumes on the table o_O. I literally died of happiness...

What made me went to heaven was being able to take a picture with gorgeous Sharon herself ^_^. I am definitely one happy girl. She has been my idol for the longest time I can remember and my family totally loved her too. **Still living in dream land**

We were divided into 4 teams and these 2 lovely ladies were my team mates :) **I still can't stop smiling now writing this blog post, am I crazy?**

As excited as I can be, I volunteered myself to help create a bespoke scent by mixing 2 or more scents by the nice Jo Malone lady. First she asked me a couple of questions and then gradually choose 3 scents (Wild Bluebell, English Pear & Freesia ~ Haha such a coincidence, and Peony & Blush Suede ~ coincidently which I plan to buy) to be spritz onto 3 parts of my body: whole body, hair and skirt respectively. I love this combo a lot.

The reason we were divided into teams is to play a little game of creating bespoke scents for the woman that was randomly drawn. We got Hilary Clinton O_O. Initially we thought we were done for as how on earth are we suppose to guess what sort of perfume Hilary used. But gradually after much discussion, we totally nailed the scent with Wood Sage & Sea Salt (new and on a woody tone) as the base, Lime Basil & Mandarin (Citrusy) and Wild Bluebell (Light Floral to bring out her femininity). 

And I do mean nailed it as we won the game ^_^ YAY!!! We were complimented on the used of Hilary's quote which hit some soft spot of the judges. Thanks for voting for us :) And so we got another bag as a "Trophy".

I thoroughly did enjoyed myself and am looking forward to the next workshop (its a pity I missed the last as I wasn't in Singapore). Toodaloos...

Beauty: Little Black Beauty Box Sept Edition StylexStyle

After a disappointing episode with the Aug Edition, September's Little Black Beauty Box is back on track again with tons of goodies. The box was literally filled to the brim...

Ooppss, excuse the blurry picture...

Yeah, literally filled. And the most exciting item that meets my eyes is the one on the right side facing upwards, Glam Glow. I mean, I literally squeal when I saw it as this product is f**king expensive, like S$90 for a tub o_O. I was shaking with excitement by then, slowly taking out the products and inspecting them one by one. 

So, this month's product was phenomenal. Benefit's latest Gel Liner was also included in a sample size form and boy must I mention how cute the packaging was (imagine a miniature gel liner pen, awesome). OK, I have to admit that its the Glam Glow that got to me thus the declaration of this box's a winner. 

A closer look, we have the Philosophy Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Lactic Acid Cleanser & Mask (I love sample size cleanser as we seldom get them often these days), Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (which I highly doubt that its gonna give results with such a small sample size) and Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask. 

Next up is Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 UVB/UVA (I already have this in my stash but am excited that I get to bring this sample size instead of lugging around the 50ml tube), Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (I guess this suppose to act as a serum?), Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment (Woohoo!!) and Benefit They're Real Push-up Liner (mmm... I wonder why no capital letters?).

Now on to package samples (dislike these kinda samples, I mean I can't use all the products in one go and ending up finding an empty container to keep the rest), Belif Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream, Ioma Gentle Exfoliating Emulsions, SKII Cellumination Aura Essence (why only 1 :'( should have included 2 for better results) and Lancome Ultimate XL UV Protection Shield-Correct-Unify BB Complete SPF 50 PA++++ (phew, that's a mouthful and why are there 4 plus signs instead of 3?).

And last but not least, Belif Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate. Looks kinda weird in its greenish packaging. 

Well, I am extremely satisfied with this month's (I did not subscribe to next month's as it is a Clarins theme and I'm not really a huge fan of the brand). Click here to buy if you are interested ^_^
