Night Time Skin Care Routine

So, I've done my day time skincare routine, now its night time. Products shown in the picture are in no particular order, if you must know, then it goes like this:

Makeup Remover Eyes -> Makeup Remover Face -> Cleanser -> Toner -> Eye Care -> Treatment -> Serum -> Moisturiser -> Target Treatment -> Lip Balm -> Sleeping Mask

Alright, it seems like a lot but when you get the hang of it, it seems all too natural.

1. Nuxe Youth and Radiance Revealing Fluid (Moisturiser)
This is like a favourite. Light weight and nice smelling, it moisturises my skin well and I don't feel any sticky residue after application.

2. Chanel Eye Makeup Remover
Actually, I don't quite like it. Although it does well in removing waterproof eye makeups but it stings like sh*t. My eyes went all red when it manages to seep into my eyes. Will probably change to use other brands like Maybelline (yeah, this product is the bomb)

3. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream (Targeted Treatment)
I only use this when I have dry patches around my mouth area. This cream pack a punch of moisturising properties and instantly helps curing my dry area. But use sparingly as its super super super moisturising.

4. Shu Uemura High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil (Face Makeup Remover)
This stuff is amazing. It doesn't sting your eyes, tug your skin and leave your skin dry. It removes any makeup (Waterproof mascara and eyeliner, bring it on!!) like a dream and I can feel the suppleness of my skin, like literally. Thumbs up.

5. Ido's 14 BH Complex (Treatment)
Whenever I use this, I feel that I don't break out that often. It does help in clearing up my skin whenever I'm on a bad skin day.

6. Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Acne Cleansing Oil (Treatment)
You might have heard me talk about this product like a million times but seriously, this is like the best stuff ever. My holy grail in fact. Its clears out blackheads, reduce hyperpigmentation, prevent spots and somehow manages to smoothen fine lines. Its a miracle in a bottle indeed.

7. Chanel Hydra Beauty Lotion (Toner)
This is the moisturising version and boy does it do its moisturising part well. My skin doesn't feel tight (like some toners does) and I feel good after applying this with a cotton pad. It smells nice too. But if you are on a budget, I suggest that you can skip this as there are many other toners out there that does equally well with a fraction of the price.

8. This Works Clean Skin Gentle Cleanser
Well, its a cleanser, like what you would normally use, and it does what it's suppose to do. End of story.

9. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Repair Balm
This is freaking amazing. Even better than Kiehl's or Clarins in terms of healing and moisturising. I just need to slap this on the night before and WALAH!! Smooth, supple and plump up (it doesn't have plumping ingredients but it helps boost moisture for the lips) lips that you can ever imagine.

10. Lancome Genefique (Treatment)
I use this everyday for its light weight and anti-aging properties. Although I've still have yet to give a verdict on its claim of anti-aging, but I like how it feels on my skin. The little pipet makes the whole application experience even more luxurious and I sincerely praise Lancome for this well-thought "marketing".

11. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Cream with Avocado
Now, this product is truly fascinating. In the tub, its a cream. But once you smooth it onto your eyes area, it turns into this liquidy smooth texture that I couldn't even describe and absorbs into the skin. It also has this brightening effect that helps with reducing dark eye circles. Instant love from me.

12. Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack
Another item which I don't use everyday is this sleeping mask. Its a thick moisturiser which you put before you sleep and expect a boost of firmness and plumping when you wake up. It also did help in making my skin more radiant. As it feels kind of thick on my skin, I use this only on colder days.

So there you have it. The products that I use at night.

Some might go  o_O at the amount I use but seriously, the answer to the question of "How do you maintain such beautiful complexion?" is this. Hardwork indeed but very well worth it.

But if you are too lazy for this sh*t then I suggest that you eat healthier ^_^

Beauty: Little Black Beauty Box Sept Edition StylexStyle

After a disappointing episode with the Aug Edition, September's Little Black Beauty Box is back on track again with tons of goodies. The box was literally filled to the brim...

September Edition, Stylexstyle
Ooppss, excuse the blurry picture...

September Edition, Stylexstyle
Yeah, literally filled. And the most exciting item that meets my eyes is the one on the right side facing upwards, Glam Glow. I mean, I literally squeal when I saw it as this product is f**king expensive, like S$90 for a tub o_O. I was shaking with excitement by then, slowly taking out the products and inspecting them one by one.

September Edition, Stylexstyle
So, this month's product was phenomenal. Benefit's latest Gel Liner was also included in a sample size form and boy must I mention how cute the packaging was (imagine a miniature gel liner pen, awesome). OK, I have to admit that its the Glam Glow that got to me thus the declaration of this box's a winner.

September Edition, Stylexstyle
A closer look, we have the Philosophy Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Lactic Acid Cleanser & Mask (I love sample size cleanser as we seldom get them often these days), Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (which I highly doubt that its gonna give results with such a small sample size) and Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask.

September Edition, Stylexstyle
Next up is Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 UVB/UVA (I already have this in my stash but am excited that I get to bring this sample size instead of lugging around the 50ml tube), Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (I guess this suppose to act as a serum?), Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment (Woohoo!!) and Benefit They're Real Push-up Liner (mmm... I wonder why no capital letters?).

September Edition, Stylexstyle
Now on to package samples (dislike these kinda samples, I mean I can't use all the products in one go and ending up finding an empty container to keep the rest), Belif Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream, Ioma Gentle Exfoliating Emulsions, SKII Cellumination Aura Essence (why only 1 :'( should have included 2 for better results) and Lancome Ultimate XL UV Protection Shield-Correct-Unify BB Complete SPF 50 PA++++ (phew, that's a mouthful and why are there 4 plus signs instead of 3?).

September Edition, Stylexstyle
And last but not least, Belif Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate. Looks kinda weird in its greenish packaging.

Well, I am extremely satisfied with this month's (I did not subscribe to next month's as it is a Clarins theme and I'm not really a huge fan of the brand). Click here to buy if you are interested ^_^

Beauty: Lip Balms ~ The Ultimate Crack Lip Saver

Are you tired of looking like a survivor who hasn't been drinking water wondering the Sahara desert? Do you wish that people could just stop looking at your dried-out crack lips with a piece of skin sticking out?

Well baby, its time to whack out your trusty old lip hero, the LIP BALMs.

Not only they help in putting back moisture and healing your dry lips, but they also introduce a nice kiss-me sheen which makes your lips oh-so-sexy (some even has this color-adapt technology that put some colours to your lips).

Let me introduce you to my 2 favourite lip machos (my another all time favourite is Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Lip Balm), Dior's Lipglow Color Reviver Balm and Kiehl's Lipbalm #1 in Mango.

I really can't say enough good things about these 2 wonderful products. Besides moisturising the lips, the Dior gives off a subtle pink colour (its advertised that the amount of colour payoff follows the temperature of your lips) with a nice sheen which makes you look fresh and awake. While the Kiehl's does not contain any colour, the mango scent totally makes up for it (but if you are not a scent fan, then you should probably stay away.

Honestly, my lips has never been better since these 2 appear. Although Kiehl's is considerably cheaper (S$17), do give Dior's (S$44 I think) a go as its been my bag staple ever since it landed on my hand.

Beauty: Little Black Beauty Box August Edition

Wow, time has been passing by so quickly and we are already in August and with the August edition Beauty Box.

Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with this month's beauty box as it seems to scale down on the product quantities and its actually pretty sad looking with the box only 1/5 filled. Although there are a few premium brands included, it is still quite disappointing really...

Ioma Cell Protector Sun Screen SPF 50 PA+++, Benefit Dream Screen  SPF45 PA+++, SKII Cellumination Lotion, SKII Cellumination Deep Surge, Shiseido White Lucent Eye Cream, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

Radical Anti-aging Restorative Moisture Cream, Ralph Lauren Sample Perfume and Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion (seriously, I've been getting this sample all the time).

I sure hope that next month's wouldn't be as boring as at least be like 3/4 filled and not a measly 1/5 else I would have to reconsider my subscription which I definitely don't want it to end.

Belated Beauty Haul

Oh my gosh!!! These pictures have been sitting in my laptop for ages and I even used up some of them. Geez....

Was on a shopping spree mode last month and went all cray cray with my shopping (blaming it on hormonal effects and stress), especially in Kiehl's. I remember there's more but I couldn't remember which one they were so these 2 pictures will have to do for now.

Crabtree & Evelyn. A sniff at the store made me bought the Pomegranate Hand Lotion and I sincerely regretted it as the scent was a bit off when I slap it on my hands. It smells quite funky although moisturising. Have yet to try out the other 2.

Yeah, was probably out of my mind that time to buy so much stuff. But I was lucky enough to meet the generous lady sales assistant and she just kept throwing in samples.... So I bought the Kiehl's Lip Balm, Deep Micro-Exfoliant Scalp Treatment and Ultra Facial Moisturiser (this is super hydrating, good for dry and cold surroundings). The others were free samples. Swell!!!

OK, I've been really freaked out by roaches now as they seem to like my room a lot and keep invading my personal space. This time round, its a mutated cockroach with stripes on its body and so far I've managed to kill the mother. Yes, THE MOTHER only. There's another teenage one (not baby as its literally 3cm long) lurking around and their shit just make me mad.

Why,why?? Why must these pesky pest have to live through the dinosaur age and come to haunt us!! Why can't they extinct like the T-Rex so I don't have to deal with them!?

Gotta go catch some roaches now!!! Kthxbye!!
