Brands nowadays are always on the lookout for natural ingredients to incorporate into their products to provide the greatest benefit and improve women's skin condition.
Was really intrigued when I saw the key ingredient in new skincare brand Re:Erth: Japanese White Tumeric.
First of all, let's talk about the rose gold packaging. Its ROSE GOLD!!! Enough said. The packaging has a nice weight to it and it kind of reminds me of a hybrid between glass and plastic. Its sturdy, has a simplistic design and sits beautiful on the vanity. Huge thumbs up from me.
There are 5 main products from the brand (another one not featured here is their Purifying Bar Soap), from the left:
1. Smoothing Eye Cream
2. Multi-Targeted Elixir
3. Hydrating Gel Moisturiser
4. Calming Toner
5. Clarifying Cleanser
All of these products veer towards the easy-to-use, fuss-free and lightweight category. First, I would use the cleanser to clean my face, then slap on 3 pumps of the elixir before putting on some toner (with the help of a cotton pad), apply some eye cream and finally on goes the moisturiser.
For me, the star product would definitely has to be their elixir. Upon using it for a month (that is the period of time to judge whether these products are working their magic on your skin), I found that my skin has visibly become brighter and my skin tone seems to be more even. Its like I'm glowing from within, especially at the outer "C" beside my eyes. Even my husband noticed the difference too and believe me when I say he is usually the "you look the same even after a haircut" kind of guy.
It has a nifty pump to expense the products.
As mentioned, I use 3 pumps of the elixir every night as my dry skin soaks up all the product literally after 15 seconds of massaging. I love how lightweight this felt on my skin without weighing my face down like some serums do. You know, that sticky icky heavy feeling you get with some lotions/serums which I just cannot deal with...
Pricing at S$135 (or S$108 for member's price), I'd say its a good bargain as you can expect results in a month's time.
To add on, these products smelt heavenly. The scent is light, a little herbally and has a nice soothing non-overpowering floral note. I 100% wish that all my skincare product smell like these. So good!!!
Well, with that being said (on the lightweight part), for me personally I do wish that the Eye cream and the Moisturiser be a little more hydrating. As I have abnormally dry skin and I sleep in an air conditioned room, I think it would be more beneficial if these 2 products can offer more hydration to my skin.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Multi-Targeted Elixir if you are looking for a product that is lightweight and can help brightens your complexion in a short period of time.
