Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel | Sephora ad

I have been on a look out for some cleansers that are more natural, non-vigorous and even helps hydrates my skin since I got pregnant. The cleansers that I'm currently using did none of those and its a pain in the butt to treat my flaky skin (especially the area under my lips).

Lo and Behold!!!

Finally, my prayers are answered and here comes Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel

Actually, the packaging doesn't look much to begin with. Sitting in a clear plastic-ky bottle (well, at least you can see how much product you have left), the packaging isn't much. However, do not let it fool you, there's just so much more this product has to offer.

What it claims:

"A rose infused facial cleansing gel that will leave your skin thoroughly cleansed, refreshed and soothed.
  • Gently removes dirt, pollution and make-up.
  • Balances, tones, soothes and reduces pore size without causing any tightness.
  • The perfect all rounder. Cleanses and hydrates for healthy skin metabolism."

Key ingredients for the cleansing gel:

  • - Polyphenols from Rosa Centifolia decongest the skin, soothe and protect facial vessels
  • - Polysaccharides from Aloe Vera retain moisture and soothe
  • - Rose Otto Oil from Damask Rose Petals calms and soothes

As you can see from the picture, the product is a clear type of gel with little bubbles contained within. I would first wet my face and with my wet fingers, rubbing the product between them, and massage onto my skin.

The first thing that hits me is the scent. The Rose Fragrance. Its heavenly I tell you. Well, I love Rose scented products to begin with so this is a definite winner for me. Its really calming and soothing without being overbearing or fake, just like applying roses directly to your skin.

Then after rinsing off the product, I immediately notice the condition of my skin. Its not drying or squeaky clean at all. I was on top of the moon. My skin has never been so smooth and plump/hydrated. Can't stop touching my face seriously and I didn't get those pesky flakes in the middle of the day. A huge thumbs up.

As if I'm not convinced that this is the perfect product me, I went ahead and Googled the product to check for compatibility of the product with pregnant women. Guess what, this product is suitable for pregnant women as it was said that Ren was actually specially created for the founder's pregnant wife!!! :O

OK, I only have good things to say about this product (except for the packaging though). Do take note though that its a little on the pricier side as you are only getting 150ml of products. However, with so many beneficial effects it has on my skin, I'm definitely making this my skincare staple.

Retailing at $50, do head over to THIS WEBSITE to view more details and to purchase.

Huge thanks to Sephora Singapore for your generosity. ^_^
