June Jacobs Neroli Hydrating Mist | Sephora ad

I'm a bit on the fence with June Jacobs Neroli Hydrating Mist. Part of me love it and part of me is afraid to use it. Let me tell you more below...

So, the packaging (or the box rather) sucked me in because its pink and adorned with purple dotted with some mint. Like, its just too pretty for my own good.

What it claims:

"Paraben and preservative free, this revitalising mist toner is enriched with Neroli oil, extracted from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree, known for its ability to stimulate cell regeneration. Powerful patent pending anti-oxidant blend of white, red and green tea extracts combined with goji berry, pomegranate and grape seed extracts help to neutralize free radicals, protect skin from environmental toxins and combat the visible signs of premature aging."

What's in it:

"White, Red and Green Tea extracts combined with Goji Berry, Pomegranate and Grape Seed - Extracts help to neutralize free radicals, protect skin from environmental toxins and combat the visible signs of premature aging.

Bitter Orange Fruit Extract - Derived from the blossoms of the tree found in the south of France, it contains flavones, carotenoids and the alkaloids, synephrine and octopamine, which act as stimulants having cell regenerating qualities."

I really love how invigorating and refreshing this mist is. Its like citrusy but not too zesty as its being toned down by a herbally note (guess its the tea extract). And then the mist dispensed is fine enough to give you an even spread on your face thus you can definitely go generous with spritzing. The best part is you do feel the product after spraying, it doesn't evaporate into thin air and leave you with nothing on your skin. I really can't stand Mist products that disappear after a couple of seconds of application like it has done nothing.

Now, for the "I love this product but I can't use it right now" part. A huge BECAUSE, I am pregnant. The key ingredient, Neroli Oil is an essential oil and it is not recommended for preggers as there might cause some side effect to the baby. Hence, you can totally imagine how bummed out I was not being able to use the product right now.

Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice pick-me-up spray to freshen up or just to hydrate your skin in the middle of the day.
