When Sephora contacted me to test out some natural skincare products (themed Natural Allure whereby products are powered by the best of nature's ingredients) that they carry, I immediately said YES!!! As you may have already know, I'm currently pregnant and am super picky on what I put on my face or apply onto my skin.
Because some ingredients may be too harsh and might harm my baby which I'm trying to avoid at all cause.
These products really came just in time to the rescue.
You can already tell from the picture that Sephora stocks all kinds of brands that you can ever imagine. From the famous Fresh, Caudalie and Burt's Bees to the more exclusive brands like This Works, Ren and Estelle & Thild.
Thus, in the next couple of posts, I'll be reviewing each and every single one of them and letting you know how I get on with them and their effectiveness.
First, we have This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
Packaged in a sleek white angular bottle, it carries a relaxing calming lavender scent with hints of chamomile (you know, the tea that you drink to sleep better).
Spritz the solution onto your pillow and the reassuring scent of lavender pulls through. Its not too strong that you might choked on it when you lie in bed nor it is too faint to be detected. And guess what guys, for the last few nights I haven't got too much trouble falling asleep (try sleeping sideways with a bowling ball attached to your tummy every night :P). And I'm not even a huge fan of lavender to be honest.
That is like a miracle o_O. I fell asleep within 5 minutes which is really rare for me unless I'm like super tired.
OK, this got me hooked big time. And after doing some research, This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray is suitable to use during pregnancy as it does not contain harsh ingredients.
My only gripe is the mist dispensed (or rather water droplets) is a bit too big for my liking. It kind of wet my pillow case but luckily it evaporated just as quick.
Definitely recommending this product to anyone who have trouble falling asleep and like lavender smelling goods. Retailed at $32, do head over to THIS WEBSITE to view more details and to purchase.
Huge thanks to Sephora Singapore for your generosity. ^_^
